Dennis Rubin Green

 


DENNIS RUBIN GREEN, a gifted actor, writer, musician was born and raised in the "Motor City," Detroit, Michigan and is an MFA graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Yale University. Dennis has appeared in such films as Jacob's Ladder with Tim Robbins, Forever Lulu with Deborah Harry, and the independent feature, Murder Magic. No stranger to the stage, he has played leading as well as featured roles in productions at such theaters as the Yale Repertory Theater, the Long Wharf Theater, Crossroads Theater Company, and the New York Theater Workshop (Rent) and has worked with such actors as Delroy Lindo (Ransom), Pam Grier (Foxy Brown), and the playwright Tony Kushner (Angels In America). A two-time winner of poetry slams at New York's famed Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, his writings include: poems published in such journals as Other Countries, Brother to Brother, and Changing Men Magazine; over 40 original songs, and a screenplay entitled Strange City.
